Attention paid subscribers: There is now a “start here” post that I created after fieldling suggestions, you can read it here:
New paid subscribers will get it in a welcome email but I also wanted a static location for it too, so there it is!
We are less than two weeks away from every LEGO set on the Introvert Entrepreneur hit list officially retiring.
Some are already out of stock and will never come back. Others will be available after retirement.
I want to once again highlight a few sets that are still available for those who weren’t able to get any or as many as they wanted to:
Technic Monster Jam Megalodon - $20 - Click here to purchase on Amazon (if in stock)
Many will know this is pretty much my favorite retiring set this year. You can’t own enough of them in my opinion.
Buying at full price is still a great investment.
For the last couple days, it has been showing with a few in stock on Amazon.
IMPORTANT TIP: I have been able to order more than the “available” amount by using my Amazon business account to add to cart and then change quantity at checkout
Heavily recommend doing this.
Marvel Spider-Man Webquarters Hangout 10784 - $40 (20% OFF) - Click here to purchase on Amazon (if in stock)
This set is currently out of stock as I type this, but has been showing up. I was able to order several more this morning.
As many readers know, I love this set this year. Normally I shy away from Marvel but not on this set.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT TIP: If you pay for a Keepa subscription (keepa.com), set an alert for Amazon at the MSRP
(If fact, you should do this for all 4 of these sets listed here if they are not in stock when you go to buy)
If it comes back in stock, place an order with the business account method mentioned above
Speed Champions Toyota GR Supra 76901 - $20 - Click here to purchase from Amazon
You can’t go wrong with Speed Champions, even at MSRP. Right now the order limit is 20, so take advantage of it.
Speed Champions Koenigsegg Jesko 76900 - $20 - Click here to purchase from Amazon
Use the business account method with this one.
I often get asked, “if a set is still in stock this late, isn’t it a bad sign for price appreciation?”
There is no way to know the overall supply of a specific LEGO set.
Just because a set goes out of stock in early December on Amazon does not automatically mean it’s going to perform better.
There are too many unknown variables to confidently know.
It is best to stick to the plan and focus on buying the sets on our hit lists, no matter what happens.
Have out there.
P.S. I have put more money into LEGO this year than I’ll ever feel comfortable saying publicly
You will be hard pressed to find someone putting more capital to work than I am
AMAZON ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS :
Order the max or desired quantity on as many accounts as they will allow (usually ~3)
Quantity limits almost always reset after 1 week post purchase
Avoid buying with accounts that have a Prime subscription, doing so is “technically” against ToS if you intend on selling your LEGO on Amazon
