In Profit & Loss Report #22 we hit $1,618 in profit for the Amazon FBA business after a very standard month in October.
IMPORTANT: I am changing the way I report numbers on this report and all reports in the future.
Rather than separate books out and only report those numbers, I am including profit for all Amazon FBA sales.
This will make the non-busy months for books more entertaining (like November).
It would make more sense to do this at the start of the new year, but I want to make the change now and not look back.
It’s less work and more fun this way.
Here is what the business accomplished in November:
Total Sales: $12,238.21
Items Sold: 216
Cost of Goods + Fees: $7,171.59
Total Profit: $5,066.62
Hours Worked: ~8
Average Profit Per Item: $23.46
Total Profit for 2022: $43,613.69
Here are a couple highlights from the month:
LEGO Technic Rescue Hovercraft 42120
Paid price: $24 each
Sold price: $58.49 each
This is a LEGO set that I alerted my private mentorship group about. It is also a position inside The Introvert Entrepreneur LEGO Investment Portfolio.
While it will be worth far more than $59 in 2023 and beyond, I like to take profit on a LEGO set I’m investing in if I can get 50%+ ROI in only a few weeks time.
I sold 30+ of these.
Should I be able to locate more at $30 or below, I will add them back into the portfolio.
Thames & Kosmos Mega Cyborg Hand
Paid price: $19 each
Sold price: $70 each
I jumped on these when Target offered them as buy 2 get 1 free, bringing the cost basis of each one down to $19 each.
It was also posted inside my private mentorship group my a few different members.
I sold 100+ of these for an ROI of well over 100%.
The business hit over $5,000 in profit and only required 8 hours of time input. That is over $400/hour, once again proving the power of efficient income businesses.
So many people on this planet could use an extra $43,000. Could you use an extra $43,000?
You can have it if they’re willing to put the work in on an Amazon business.
The key to accomplishing something like this is to start. Start and then never give up.
When I started my Amazon business a decade ago, I knew nothing and had much less information to guide me.
I even got my Amazon Seller account banned at one point (it was my fault too).
Don’t let something intimidate you just because you “don’t know” anything about it at first.
That’s not an excuse and you know it.
When you are ready, there are two different ways I can help you:
