TIE #026: What the Creation of a Life Changing One-Person Business Looks Like
Don't just take my word for it, I have receipts.
Apparently you hate money. If you didn’t, you’d be using Rakuten every time you shop on websites like Walmart and Target to save money.
They have paid me over $8,000 for things I was already going to buy for my one-person business (click here for proof).

It’s time for a little story.
Inside my private mentorship group there are a number of individuals who have done a very simple thing: started and never stopped.
No matter how many roadblocks they ran into, they kept pushing.
As a result, they now operate a one-person business that pays them more money then they ever dreamed of making prior.
One individual in particular is Fredo, who the group towards the end of 2021.
Following the creation of a simple Amazon business (like I recommend for all beginners), they started to see results:
As the months rolled by, they kept asking questions and worked towards compounding profits to grow their business.
Three months later, Fredo was still seeing the same amount of revenue:
At this point in the journey, it would have been easy to give up. No growth after three months?
Most people give up before they start, but this is when the rest walk away.
Fredo kept pushing though.
Two months later, they hit $1,200 in sales in a single day.
This was likely $300-500 in profit, which is an incredible accomplishment:
If you don’t want to escape the rat race, this is where you coast and enjoy the extra income from a nice little side hustle.
If you do want to escape the rat race, this is where you keep pushing regardless of what obstacles may appear.
That’s exactly what Fredo did and before long, they hit $10,000 in a single month, likely yielding $3,000 to $5,000 in profit:
What unfolded next is nothing short of incredible. They doubled down on everything they had learned and attacked for the 2022 holiday season.
As a result, they hit $100,000 in sales for 2022 which likely yielded $30,000 to $50,000 in profit:
As we move through 2023, they’ve continued to improve and expand their one-person business.
Now, $30,000+ months are normal. They are on pace for upwards of $300,000 - $400,000 in sales for 2023:
This is what happens when you are willing to take a small risk to see what you’re capable of and pair it with hard work.
If you are reading this, you are likely a hard worker when you want to be.
The problem is, you’re stuck working hard for pay that you have no control over.
This is what I hate most about the traditional employment model. The harder you work, the more rich your boss becomes.
The reality is this: you will never get the compensation you deserve until you create something of your own.
I wish it didn’t work that way, but it’s the truth.
Fredo won’t have to look back in 40 years and wonder “what would have happened if I gave it a try?”
You will though, if you choose to ignore this opportunity because you’re scared of trying something new.
That choice is yours and I can’t make it for you.
