LEGO Alert: Cyber Monday Plan of Attack
This may be our final chance at getting huge discounts this year.
Cyber Monday is here and there are a few opportunities that I plan on taking advantage of from a few different retailers.
If all goes well, we will have locked down most sets on the 2023 Introvert Entrepreneur hit list.
This is my plan:
Walmart
Speed Champions Toyota GR Supra 76901 - $10 (50% OFF) - Product page here
Speed Champions Koenigsegg Jesko 76900 - $10 (50% OFF) - Product page here
If you haven’t filled up on these, it’s a great opportunity to get more (I already have enough):
Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter 75300 - $25 (45% OFF) - Product page here
All three sets will go on sale today at 1PM PST (4PM EST) for Walmart+ members only and then will be unlocked for everyone after 3 hours.
In general, I’ve seen that Walmart will cancel orders or your subscription after 3-4 orders during these sales.
I will not be buying until the 3 hour window is up.
MAKE SURE YOU USE RAKUTEN - They are giving 10% free cash back today, sign up here
Amazon
The main goal with Amazon is to take advantage of price matches on all sets from every retailer today.
The only set price matched at the moment that you should be getting if you don’t have enough yet:
Star Wars Boba Fett Starship 75312 - $27.99 (45% OFF) - Click here to purchase
Keep an eye out on every one of the sets listed above and below.
Target
The main goal for Target is to contact them via chat and get a price match if you already bought the sets below at a higher price:
Star Wars Boba Fett Starship 75312 - $27.99 (45% OFF) - Click here to purchase
Star Wars Ambush on Ferrix 75338 - $48.99 (30% OFF) - Click here to purchase
WALMART ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
You can place unlimited orders with Walmart (not Walmart+). Just space your orders out a little bit so they don’t think you are a bot.
AMAZON ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS :
Order the max or desired quantity on as many accounts as they will allow (usually ~3)
Quantity limits almost always reset after 1 week post purchase
Avoid buying with accounts that have a Prime subscription, doing so is “technically” against ToS if you intend on selling your LEGO on Amazon
TARGET ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
Never place more than 9 orders with the same item combination or total dollar value
Space orders out by a few minutes each
Mix and match items or item quantity to place a new 9 orders
If you have a question, leave it below and I’ll get to it ASAP.
This post is not financial or investment advice.
It is designed for entertainment purposes only by a bum who gave up his job as a prestigious Aerospace Engineer to talk about parking money in sealed boxes of plastic.
Very frustrating, placed orders with multiple vendors. Most were canceled. One even tried the bait and switch tactic of saying go to the stores and find it if you want it. Right, at a much higher price.
So I’m guessing there’s no work around if you’re outside the US???
