My boys and I are having so much fun investing in Legos. They are 10 and 8 and this has been a great way to get them in the entrepreneurial mindset. Thanks so much!
FYI guys: I was allowed to bulk order on my business account. Not capped at nine units. This is the first time I was able to do this so far this buying season
Is there any reason to worry about Section 3 account deactivation and Amazon not accepting invoices more than a year old for Lego? Seeing a lot of chatter lately.
Got hit with the hard gate, although to be fair I didn’t by much last q4 (just testing it out) so I have t sold a ton this year. Once you build up inventory do you sell all year round or is it mainly q4. Sounds like they will probably open it back up in Jan.
Yeah i got clipped this weekend with no availabilty to re-apply. Its for sure the real scary risk in this business. Made me take a step back as its hard to feel confident buying 5 figures of lego this holiday season with being hard gated.

Love it!
That's so awesome.
I wish my parents would have done that with me.
These can be found on Lego.com for the same deal FYI
And 2X points, 2.5% Rakuten discount, and some GWPs as well. Good catch

I've yet to hear of anyone getting a Section 3 for LEGO.
However, it's always a risk just like anything else.
I operate knowing this is a risk.
So you buy these and hold for a year? do you have to sell via Amazon FBA? or would you sell on platforms like eBay as well?
You can do either. I buy and hold for at least a year yes.
I also have a 5% cash back card with Amazon so brings it to 35% off
6% with delayed delivery!!

Mainly Q4 and Q1
Capped at 60 units for business acct and 20 units for regular acct. I’m not hard-gated yet. 🤞
Is it fine I placed an order for 9 sets and then another order for 15 sets on the same account? There was no order limit.
Yeah I don't see any issues with that.
Could you comment on the recent hard gating of Lego for many Amazon sellers? Do you foresee this opening back up after Q4? Have you seen this before?
I see it opening back up post Q4.
Amazon used to gate the entire Toys category for Q4 every year for years.
However, they gave way more notice than this.

Had you sold legos before on amazon? trying to figure out why some people are getting gated and if im next.
Might be specific sets, as well. For example, for my 2023 purchases, I'm ungated for most sets and gated for Lego Friends Adoption Pet Cafe
