The gifts keep on giving with some of these sets that are damn near 50% OFF this week.
Yesterday we have a ton, but today we have one.
The LEGO set I am investing in today:
Harry Potter Expecto Patronum 76414 - $39.19 (44% OFF) - Click here to buy from Amazon - Click here to buy from Target
For those who have memorized the hit list, you will know this is not a hit list set.
However, I did highlight it in the final update as a set I would buy at the right price because it was close to making it all year.
This set was available yesterday via Target but I wanted to wait until Amazon had a chance to price match it so I could get an additional 5% in cash back with my credit card.
They have done that this morning so I am locking in a small position via Amazon and Target.
To get max quantity possible of each set above from Amazon, here is what you need:
1 regular Amazon.com account
1 business account
These limits used to reset weekly, I am unsure if that still holds true this year.
To abide by Amazon ToS, ensure both accounts do not have an active Prime subscription.
To get max quantity of each set above from Target:
The key to Target is understanding that you can place 9 total orders with the same mixture of items (or subtotal)
Be slow and methodical while buying, you don’t want them to think you’re a bot.
If you are targeting 3 different LEGO sets, here is how you can structure them to get as many as possible:
Orders 1-9: Max quantity of Set 1
Next 9 orders: Max quantity of Set 2
Next 9 orders: Max quantity of Set 3
Next 9 orders: Max quantity of Set 1 + Max quantity of Set 2
Next 9 orders: Max quantity of Set 1 + Max quantity of Set 3
Next 9 orders: Max quantity of Set 2 + Max quantity of Set 3
Next 9 orders: Max qty of Set 1 + Max qty of Set 2 + Max qty of Set 3
If each set has an order limit of 3, you would walk away with over 100 of each doing this.
If you wanted more, you could pair another set with this that you kind of like so you can get another 9 orders in.
In summary: Do not place more than 9 identical orders

So I just signed up for the newsletters and I am already disappointed. It seems like the buy alert only lasts for a couple hours. The price is back to its original price. Is it expected on every buy alert? It would be a pain to have such a short windown to make a decision and be able to buy under-priced sets.
I just signed up for your membership. Is there a link to an article that walks through buying lego sets on Amazon? I understand that that I should have a personal account and business account not linked to prime but then I use my personal Prime credit card for 5% off? Do you buy from the business account then and get tax exception?
