If in Canada, the DB5 is also 20% of at Toys R Us, plus they give you $10 gift card if you spend over $50. That goes for all Speed Champion sets

On Twitter/X you noted possible portfolio allocation of 40% Star Wars and 25% Speed Champions. How much are you considering for your Disney allocation?

I just tried to get approved to sell Lego on Amazon using your advice to purchase 10 keychains and submit the invoice and it was rejected by Amazon. Any other suggestions to get approved to sell?

I’ve had no issue getting approved to sell the textbooks

You reapply until they accept. It once took me 12 tries many years ago.

5 from Lego @ $27.99 each - $139.95 - $8 (4% CapOne Shopping + 2% Credit Card) - $60 (Steamboat Willie) = $71.95/ 5 sets = $14.39/set

Also seeing that TopCashBack in offering 12% currently. Not too bad.

Correct, another good option although they have delayed some of my payouts almost a full year before so not my favorite.

Noticed the same, they take way longer than Rakuten to pay out. Thanks again for the intel.

Why 40521 from the Disney shop? It looks like it is estimated to retire very far in the future right? I totally understand the free set that comes with probably makes it worth it, but is there anything special about 40521?

Expand full comment
Jarek Lewis's avatar

1. It retires end of this year (stop using whatever source you are using that says not this year)

2. It's a Disney exclusive set (not sold by Amazon, Walmart, etc.)

Ok I see. What source do you use to check when a set is retiring?
