1. You could get there in a year or two. It's the efficiency that comes years 3-5. There is no legitimate answer to the investment question. Some people start with $1,000, some start with $10,000. It can be done with any amount.
2. As much time as you can possibly give will give you the best chance. There is no "quick" in this game. It's about a lot of effort over a long period of time.
Where do you store your lego, does your prep centre do storage as well?
Yes with my prep center
Even for your Legos where you have a long hold.? The storage expense is still offset by the efficiency of them handling logistics prep?
I pay more than storing them myself.
However, it’s worth having to not do any labor or find a place to store them (to me)
Thanks man I really appreciate the quick reply. You are quite an inspiration.
Do you use a prep center?
Yes
Do you start buying books for busy season in November? I didn't think about how q4 shipping may affect trying to buy in December.
Yes
Looks interesting, few questions, as I am living in the US, and willing to invest in LEGO as a total newbie in Amazon:
- Getting $120k/yr benefit is a good target, how much investment would be required to get there ? And how many years?
- Realistically for a total newbie on e-commerce (but being in IT and learning quick), how much time investment is required to get there quickly?

Gotcha, very cool
Wow, that’s awesome! Does that include your Lego investing returns? Crazy numbers
Yes.
However, I haven't taken much profit on any during the calendar year.
Do you think it’s possible to use this model successfully if just using amazon.ca?
I don't have a great answer. I've never lived there. I just know it works best in the US.
