TIE #058: How I've Made $65,768 with Digital Products and Consulting so far in 2024
It's time for the April update.
The first step to escaping the rat race is making your first $1,000 online.
The best way to accomplish this as a beginner is with a simple Amazon business.
It worked for me 10 years ago and it’s what I would do if I had to start over from scratch today.
You can try to figure out how to do that out on your own or you can join my private mentorship group here:
Choice is yours.
It is time to take a look at how the digital side of my one-person business performed in April.
Why am I sharing this?
I have no idea, but people like it.
As a reminder, we hit just under $12,000 for March. You can read about that here if you haven’t already:
In that post I mention that I discovered that many links I had in previous newsletter posts for my digital products were non-functional.
They were that way for around two weeks before I realized.
As a result, revenue/profit dipped a little bit:
Total Digital Product Profit for April: $5,027.20
$1,800 less than March, which is unsurprising given the circumstances.
I did not onboard any consulting clients in April as I continue to work with the several that signed up earlier this year.
Total Digital Product & Consulting Profit for 2024: $65,768.55
While April was the lowest month of the year thus far, we are still at an amazing total for the year.
I hate to sound like a broken record but I have hit these numbers despite doing very little marketing for these services.
Just a link or two inside my newsletter posts and nothing more.
I don’t promote any of it on social media and I don’t spam subscribers with daily emails begging them to sign up.
What I have done this year is test several different ways of offering my digital products inside the newsletter.
I didn’t like was how cluttered and potentially confusing my offers were.
Up until earlier this month, I had always presented three options:
My Amazon FBA guide
My LEGO investing guide
My private mentorship group (that includes the above guides for free)
Now, I am just offering the group.
To get access to those guides now you have to join the group.
Not only will this makes things cleaner, but it will increase the quality of the group and what we discuss inside.
Is this a good idea?
Who knows.
I think it makes sense though.
This is how entrepreneurship works by the way.
You pick a direction and go “fuck it, let’s see what happens”.
It’s that simple.
Have a question? Leave it below and I’ll get to it ASAP.
When you are ready, there is one way I can help you:
You know the group I just blabbed about for a couple minutes? Yeah, you can join it and start making some money.
What about paid substack subscribers? Do we not get the content anymore for LEGO?
