TIE Pokémon Booster Box Portfolio Report - March 2025
Come take a look at which Pokémon booster boxes I am invested in and how well they're performing.
Welcome to a monthly series where I document the performance of my Pokémon booster box portfolio.
I started this series back in 2021 and re-introduced it late last year.
If you missed last month’s post, check it out here:
With the reintroduction of this series, I am now issuing buy/sell alerts for Pokémon booster boxes for paid subscribers, just like I do with LEGO.
If you want to subscribe and lock in the current price before it increases, I suggest you do so now:
*I have no idea why I had this series labeled a month behind, but I’ve adjusted it now by making this post March instead of February*
The Pokémon market is still raging as we hit mid-March.
There are no signs of cooling down despite confirmed reprints for several Scarlet & Violet sets from multiple distributors I have spoken to.
From what I understand, the reprints are miniscule in size and likely won’t impact the market in any meaningful way.
I assume this is because they are using printer space for new sets, which will have a dramatic increase in supply.
Twilight Masquerade is now $220/box, Stellar Crown is $200/box, and Surging Sparks is $250/box.
I mention those three because they are the three most recent releases that I do not own because I had not yet adjusted to booster boxes appreciating instantly upon release.
I am not a buyer of them unless I can get them near MSRP and am okay with the increasing likelihood that I miss out on them entirely.
I’d rather allocate capital elsewhere than overpay.
It is what it is.
With that out of the way, let’s take a look at how the portfolio has changed over the last month:
