Jarek - have you figured out how to order lego with Walmart + yet during the sales? Similar to Target they are pretty strict. Any idea on limits to avoid getting shut down?

Not much you can do tbh in my experience.

You order what you can or wait until the exclusivity period ends and order on a normal account.

I received a sales tax permit for my state. If all goes well this year, maybe next year I'll just have everything shipped to a warehouse in a state with no sales tax. For the time being, following your instructions, will there be any issue

1. Adding the sales tax permit to my amazon business account

2. Should a add the permit to the other non-business accounts outlined above?

1. Nope

2. Yes

At your buying capacity, are you buying most of your inventory at 20% off msrp? Or do you wait till better sales throughout Q4 and hope you can meet your quantity goals?

I found some sets near 40% off so I picked them up, figured I won’t do better than that. Last year I bought some at full price, makes it much harder to meet my benchmark which is +50%. This year probably won’t buy anything not on sale

40% OFF is a solid buy for sure, I'd do the same.

Best deal I can possibly get and then 20% OFF minimum if not.

How do you determine what the max quantity is? For example I recently bought some sets on sale, and in the drop-down it only allowed me to select 3 (both target and Amazon). Does the drop-down typically dictate what they consider the max, or can you type in a quantity by hand and see what they let you purchase

Yeah it is based on the dropdown. Or just bring one into your cart and input something like 99 and it will adjust to the max.

Can you get an Amazon Business Prime AMEX with your seller account? My seller account does not have a Prime membership, just my regular Amazon account. Or can I use the AMEX on all of my accounts (3 personal and one seller) and still get the 5% back?

And thank you for this post; I was going to ask you if you could write this up, but you were already ahead of me.

The card has nothing to do with a seller account.

You can use the card on any Amazon account you have.

The only stipulation is having one account with a prime membership upon signing up.

What's the best way to store your various lego sets before you send them out to sell them?

I don’t store most of my own, but I just have shelving for them.

Others use stackable totes or pre prep them in moving boxes.

Plenty of options are good as long as they are safe from water damage and sunlight.

Gotcha. Do you just send them to Amazon and wait for them to hit your price point?

I wait. Amazons storage fees are way too high to send in early.

What’s the app you use to pay people with your business cc?

Whatever works for them.

Venmo etc.

Almost all of them allow credit cards.

So I’ve heard that getting around Amazon quantity limits by using multiple accounts is against their terms. Is this not a risk?

Also if I remember right I tried ordering the same quantity across 3 accounts and the third order was cancelled and they emailed me saying I’d gone over their limit. How often do you see that?

It can happen but I've never had it result in any sort of suspension or ban.
