TIE #078: How to Make $75,620 in Profit on Amazon in a Single Month (while hardly working)
Come see how much money my Amazon business made in December 2024
Your first step to escaping the rat race is making your first $1,000 online.
The best way to accomplish this as a beginner is with a simple Amazon business where you sell other people’s products.
It worked for me 10 years ago and it’s what I would do if I had to start over from scratch today.
You can attempt to figure that out on your own or you can become a paid subscriber and get free access to my private mentorship group on Discord:
Upon joining, you will get full access to all my premium guides and content.
Choice is yours.
I have been documenting how much profit my personal Amazon business makes in this newsletter for a full 4 years now.
4 long years of transparency.
While running this type of business was never a dream of mine, it is what laid the foundation for me to live a lifestyle full of freedom and fulfillment.
In 2025, an Amazon business (where you arbitrage products online and from retail storefronts) is still where I would start if I had to do it all over again.
This post is #48 of this series, you can read post #47 here:
My Amazon business has three branches:
Branch 1: Non-fiction book arbitrage (read here if you do not know what this is)
Branch 2: LEGO investment sales (read here if you do not know what this is)
Branch 3: Any and all other online arbitrage
Depending on the time of year, they all rise and fall independently from each other.
It is not your average Amazon business.
I target the highest profit margin possible while aiming to work as little as possible.
No longer am I trying to grow, I’m just trying to maintain.
This often means buying products and waiting a while before selling them.
The game I play is efficiency, I do not play “number go up” simulator.
Let’s take a look at how we did in December:
Total Sales: $206,340.94
Items Sold: 3,701
Cost of Goods + Fees: $130,720.26
Total Profit: $75,620.68
Hours Worked: ~15-20
Average Profit Per Item: $20.43
Total Profit for 2024: $158,652.68
Quite the change compared to last month!
December almost provided the same amount of profit as January - November combined.
It also gave us the best profit margin of any other month thanks to the power of LEGO investing.
I know it looks ridiculous, but just think about it for a moment with this example:
Buy LEGO set for $60 (Bird of Paradise)
Hold for a year
Sell LEGO set for $250
Get $200 after fees
That is $140 profit on a $250 sale and well over 50% profit margin.
Is every set that good? Of course not, but many in the TIE portfolio were in that 30-40% range.
Over $150,000 profit in a year is pretty cool for something that doesn’t take a lot of my time.
Not only that, but it is roughly $30,000 more than 2023.
I didn’t try to make that happen but it did.
I would point to my refined set picking system (that I updated after buying 2022 retirees) as the main reason for that.
January is usually a great month for my Amazon business before the numbers drop significantly until summer.
Now that we are in 2025, I will be soon introducing or re-introducing several regular updates within the newsletter that feature:
My collectible card booster box portfolio (mainly Pokémon)
My new supplement business (I almost have my product in hand!)
The 2025 LEGO Investing Hit List
I’m beyond excited to attack the year and provide you all with the highest quality content that I’m capable of.

Awesome month dude. That average profit per sale is HOT. Anything you plan on changing strategy-wise for LEGO investing this year? Loving the way things are pacing already, hoping LEGO keeps production levels the same.
I have been a paid newsletter subscriber since 2023. Do I need to pay $199 to update my subscrption? What will I miss if I do not update?
